First, clean the surface with a lint-free cloth, kitchen paper, and pure alcohol or a window cleaner.
Then moisten the area to be covered with clean water. Also wet your fingers a little and peel the protective film off the carrier paper. This way you won't leave fingerprints on the adhesive surface.
Next, also moisten the back of the film. Position it punctually at the desired location. If it doesn't sit perfectly, you can still move it slightly.
Once it is in the right position, use a folded kitchen towel to first wipe along the middle. Then work from the center outwards and squeeze out the remaining water between the bike and the film.
